DELAY IN STUDY PERMIT PROCESSING ABU DHABI

Hello everyone. I applied from Pakistan in the first week of June. Its been over 5 months now in Total and 3 months after medical request.How much time does embassy take to make a final decision on an application after medical (requested) ? there are a few other applicants who are still waiting since June. On 10th October they replied to my CSE that "Your application is in queue for review by an officer." Its been 14 days and we haven't received any response further update from them, apart from those ghost emails (useless). Does delay mean they are going to refuse the application ??

Did you guys send in CSE aswell? Because they replied me that my application is in queue. I was wondering how much time are they going to take now it's already been so long. Does queue mean that they have moved on from background checks ?

Did they send you any email regarding the background checks? or replied to any of your CSE stating that we're conducting background investigations?

No they said nothing regarding background checks... i received one ghost email on 8th oct *Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information* when i logged in , there was no update. They replied to my CSE on 10th October

Your application is in queue for review by an officer.

Please note that the volume of applications received and the complexity of individual applications can cause processing times to be longer in some cases. This is often due to circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate your patience and we will contact you once processing has been finalized.*

I figured maybe when i got that ghost email, they probably updated my background check. i am not sure though.. because another applicant received this queue email in reply to his CSE and he got his approval after 5 days but its been already 14 days in my case so i am not sure about that theory now.

I actually received an email on Sep 28 from the Abu Dhabi embassy in which they had mentioned that they are currently conducting certain background investigations and they will contact me regarding the visa decision once the checks are completed. However, i didn't receive any further updates up-till now. Anyways Good luck and i wish you get your decision soon Keep us updated

hey ,i just want to ask regarding letter of explanation or sop .this is not present in check list and karachi,pakistan visa application do not tell me to add this paper with file ,is this a veryyyyy imp document that i must have to add ???did cic website mention about this letter or not??

It's weird that you got the email on a Saturday by the way... it's a holiday in both UAE and Canada

I actually received an email on Sep 28 from the Abu Dhabi embassy in which they had mentioned that they are currently conducting certain background investigations and they will contact me regarding the visa decision once the checks are completed

If you applied on 26/08 as your profile is saying, then it's actually super early for you to send Inquiries about your application. I am not sure how they even replied to you while on the website it says processing time is 12 weeks...

I didn't send any CSE because my file is still within the normal processing time. Abu Dhabi embassy sent me this email on Sep 28. I even posted it here on Sep 29 when you replied to my post that it's weird that they sent this email because usually they send this email in response to a CSE but I hadn't sent any CSE to them

I Received that ghost email on 8th October around 8pm.. *your account has been updated one* according to the website it takes 24 hours to get this email.. so most probably they opened my file on Friday and i got this email after 24 hours.

From what i have gathered so far is that there are two standard replies * either we get the background check one or the queue one* they both are just manipulation of words meaning the same thing.

Do you guys think that they would delay giving us approval till the start of our classes now? since we have already deferred our semester. I am worried cause that would mean its going to take 9 months to get approval overall.

I still don't think that's gonna happen on purpose. As I told you before, they don't care, they will just release it whenever it is ready.
