Urgent help needed, transferring money from India to Scotia Bank GIC account.

I made the Funds transfer on 11th July but still haven't received any acknowledgment from the Scotic Bank. Any Idea how long does it take to receive confirmation from the bank.

It took 5 working days for me to get a receipt or investment certificate from Scotiabank

i had done a payment for GIC on 8th july and today is 18th july. there has been no comunication since them. my question is does Scotiabank send us a mail of acknowledge of receipt or they directly issue GIC certificate?

They directly issue Investment Direction (GIC). I got mine in 10 business days so don't worry you will get
it soon.

congrats abhishek, me too got my certificate. It seems soctiabank is issuing certificate in exactly 10 days (including weekends)

I provided to my bank like this : Transit Code: 35972-002. Not sure which one is bank or transit code but it went through allright this way.
As BNS didn't provide -002 anywhere in that letter I had to dig out online and also sent BNS an email for which no reply came through.

So your bank should be good to go through with this information. Cheers.
