Is there anyone from pakistan who is going to apply for canadian study permit for sept 2016 session? Please share your experiences and help others. I am also applying for visa in May. Thanks!

Already applied and obtained the visa (Allhamdullilah)..u can ask anything visa related..best of luck to u

I'm looking forward for Jan, 2017 intake. However I have a concern and need help with that.

My uncle (Chacha) is Canadian citizen residing in Toronto. He is my financial sponsor. But I heard showing any such sponsorship jeopardize the visa. Need your opinions please.

Visa refusal or approval does not depend on any single factor. My financial sponsor was my sister and her husband who are both canadian residents. And my sister doesnt even earn. I still got the visa (Allhamdullilah) bcz other parts of my application (like personal ties and Letter of explanation were pretty strong. I am not saying that myself. This is wat visa officer told me during an interview that he requested wd me bcz of my "financial sponsor doubt"). Having a relative in canada does make the alarm bells go off in the VOs mind and u have to make other sections much more stronger to convince him. Its harder but not impossible (Allhamdullilah take my example).

Can you please explain how to make personal ties strong? Like what is considered to be strong ties with the home country.
Secondly,as your financial sponsors are Canadian residents. Did you still submit bank statement here.?

thanks for your support re3dv :). i need to ask something about the bank statement. Actually my mother is sponsoring me and she has saving certificates in National savings. My mother can withdraw the amount at any time. I am showing my mothers bank statement. Is it ok to show that my Mother has certificates and she is sponsoring me?? One more thing, do we require police clearance certificate when we apply for visa? Thanks

National savings certificate and the bank statement r two different things? Ur mother has both? Does she earn? Mothers can sponsor, thts fine. But u will need to make sure tht u hav some source of income for ur family other then these savings aswel.
Yes, you do need to submit PCC for every city u hav resided in for atleast 6 months

If ur mother transfers the money, then u wld need to show the trail of money transfer i.e. show the amount debited from her account and credites in ur amount (if show take the bank statement, debit and credit amounts wil be shown there) and tht wld be fine.
If the money transfer occurs more then 4-6 months before the visa application then u wldnt nees to show the transfer (i wld suggest u to show it in ths case aswel bcz u hav nothing to worry abt as ur own mother is the one sending u the money)
Even if u dnt transfer the money tht will also b fine bcz parents r the most obvious sponsors and VOs dont object or doubt their intention of giving u the money. In this case, show the money in your mother's account and attach her affidavit of sponsorship.
P.S: I shd tell u tht u will need a letter from National Savings Center detailing the amount of certificates u hold in NSC

Spouse is the strongest tie
But its normal tht a student does not hav a spouse
In tht case ur immediate family i.e. parents and siblings r ur ties but wd these ties u shd also show financial stability
None of ur immediate family members is in canada so if u can show a stable financial situation of ur family and assets u shd be fine

Hello guys,

I am a student from Sri Lanka just got accepted to MEng Mechanical. I want to know how do i show the tuition fee for the student visa as they have given the program fee($25500) not the fee per year. The visa office require us to show the fee for the 1st year right. Any one who has already applied for visa please advise me. How much did you show per year?? Please advise
