Medical Exam Report being asked even after submission

Hi All ,

I had appeared for the medical check up before submitting my online application .
I had also uploaded the document proof provided by the hospital .
Today I received the message from CIC asking me to undergo medical check up .
I am confused what to do . Please help .

Hi Sachin! so you had an upfront medical exam then. When did you have your medical exam? Chances are if you just had it recently, the hospital have'nt forward your medical details to CIC yet. I advise you to call the hospital and ask about your results. Goodluck!

you better ask the hospital if they have forwarded already your result.

What shall be done in case the hospital says that they have forwarded the report ?
Given the urgency shall I go for the test once again or ask the hospital to re-send the report once again .

just check your mycic account beside medical, if you are asked to submit it, just upload it again but no need to undergo another medical exam. your medical is valid for 1 year.

Right now the upload columns are blank .
There is no option of uploading a new document .

since the hospital confirmed to you that they submitted the result already, you should not worry. but to make sure you better call CIC call center and ask that to them.

Well they have clearly instructed all candidate to allowed at least 14 days of time to reach your medical to High Commission. I believe in your case you have not followed this time gap as I can see you applied on 01 Dec and today its 14 Dec considering weekends as off. But I also strongly believe it shouldn't be a case, as if the hospital you went for medical were upgrade to e-medical software by CIC, then your report might have transmitted same day of your medical to CIC.

My advise to you would be drop them email through case specific link to report your situation. There is nothing harm in doing this in your case.

The hospital had assured that the report reaches the High Commission maximum by four days .
Today also when I called them to check the delivery status they mentioned that the report has already reached .
Couple of queries :
1) If the CIC wants me to upload the new acknowledgement of a medical check up then why they haven't enabled any link to do the same .
2) If it has already reached then is there any chance that this notification was generated automatically and they will update the information within a day or two .
2) I am willing to take up a new medical test tomorrow from another medical center but will it take another 2 weeks to reach the commission ?
3) I have already dropped a case specific query regarding this as well as a separate email to DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. Not sure whether they will even look into it .

@Sachin,

I will strongly recommended you not to retake any medical further until instructed by CIC. It will be waste of money plus this will create little confusion to visa officer (vo) seeing two medical reports. VO WILL ONLY CONSIDER REPORT NO. Provided by you in initial application. Could you please copy and paste the message to my inbox, so I can advise you better.

They only ask for re-medial if they believe your medical report may underlying some disorder. Do you have any medical condition? If not, relax.

You did right thing by emailing them about it. Don't keep dropping email everyday, they get annoyed and will cause unnecessarily delay. If it's technical glitch, they will update your account soon by reading your email. Again my advise is not to anything until you get response to your email.

I have already booked an appointment for tomorrow at another medical center .
After reading your message I think I should follow your advice and wait for couple of days .
Yes , I don't have any medical condition . They were shocked to observe that I had a perfect eye sight ;D

Hi ,

Got a trigger from CIC once again today with the same message content asking me to provide the medical information .
Shall I inform them once again with the case specific form ?
Also called the doctor who did my check up requesting her to resend the report . She said that she is not allowed to do that (portal itself doesn't allow) . She said that they might rectify this mistake soon . Not to worry .
I am getting restless . Phewwww !!!
