Query in submitting my passport for the visa stamping - application for PR

Hi

With reference to the finalization of application for permanent residence, I have been asked to submit my passport to the visa office New Delhi and have given the VFS Visa Application Centre (India) website for details. As I reside and work in Abu Dhabi, will I be able to submit my passport in the VFS Visa application centre, Abu Dhabi. If yes, should I need to get an approval from the CPC or from the concern in submitting the passport in Abu Dhabi.

I had checked with the helpline # of VFS global in UAE. They confirmed that I can submit here at their office in Abu Dhabi. Looking forward for your expertise advice.

We are currently in a similar situation as yours. Could you submit your passport to VFS in Abu Dhabi to be sent to NDVO? We are also currently living in Abu Dhabi but have received a request today to send our passports to NDVO.

Dont worry

I had the same issue. Put a lot of mails, but did nt get any reply.

You can submit the passport @ VFS office in Abu Dhabi. They accept the same as you reside in AUH. The stamping may take a few days time.

Had they sent the passport to Delhi or was it done from Abudhabi?
Do we need to wait to get reply from CIC, regarding the change of Visa stamping office or
is it possible to submit it directly after getting PPR mail?

For Indian passport holders residing in UAE, can submit their passport in VFS Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

I had send a lot of mails to CPC querying about this, but didn't get any response. Hence i submitted my passport and got it stamped within 15 days.

According to the above post from Mr.Kurian, it seems he didn't get reply from cic & submitted his passport to VFS Abudhabi. Try to call them.

Any information was there regarding change of visa stamping office on your passport request e-mail?

Guys who got passport request from Ottowa visa office have an option to change stamping office in their ppr e-mail. There is a google spreadsheet also available to check wait period.

But all these people's original visa office was ottowa.

I am waiting to do the same thing after getting my ppr.

Even I am facing the same issue, got my PPR on JUne 24th. Contacted VFS global , they had informed that the passport can be submitted in Abudhabi. But VFS being a third party agency , should I take a confirmation from the Abudhabi or new delhi Visa offices?

Have you got any link in the PPR e-mail to request visa office change?

When I contacted VFS Dubai ( though I didn't get PPR yet), they told me to reply for PPR e-mail requesting Visa Office change. But it seems to me that Mr.Kurian hadn't got reply from CIC & got the visa stamped from Abudhabi Visa office through VFS.

Please share your experience.

Hello Kurian ,

I read your case on Canda forum. I am in same Situtation. I would like to know if you got your visa from Abu Dhabi office but got the PPR for New Delhi.

As i have received a PPR for NDVO (India Office). I called the VFS in Dubai and they told they can forward the passport only to Abu Dhabi office. However, i am in dilemma is this the right thing to do as PPR letter says " Submit to VFs in India".

Should i not raise a CSE and wait ? Or should i submit the passport to Abu Dhabi Embassy via VFS ?

what do you advice.

I have the same case like you and I wonder what happen in your case. I am reside in Abu Dhabi and the passport request letter says to submit my application to Riyadh in KSA. Also I checked with VAC in Abu Dhabi and they are welling to process my application. Appreciate your response

I have got the same request. Submit passport to new Delhi or Nepal visa office for visa stamping. And they give only 30 days.

I checked with vfs dubai, they accepted my passport along with my wife's. I will keep you posted of the updates.

In the meanwhile, I did raise cse for visa office change and also informed Delhi and advo immigration offices to change my visa office to advo.
