Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi guys and gals ,
Yesterday was launched Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program aka SINP. The good news is that they will also accept candidates without job offer but who are skilled. The bad news (not for all of us but for them who consider themselves as Software Engineers ) is that for NOC 2173 Software Engineers and Designers in the column Mandatory certification is stated as YES

I have some questions (maybe not only me but a lot of us) and need some clarification on the below topics.
1- Can someone please explain where and how can we get the certification ?
2- Will that be true also for normal EE 2015 candidates ?
3- Did any of FSWP 2014 candidates certify for 2173 ? Was it mandatory ?

But in there assesment to get 60 points out of 100 without any relation with Saskatchewan is very very difficult....if you dont have any relation to saskatchewan you are looking to get 60 out of 70...thats tough

There is no certification for 2174 though....

I get slightly above 60 points of qualification, but am wondering what if I get stuck in one place after going there...so will just wait until the first round and get into without any PNP...I wonder when the Ontario is going to have PNP program for express entry..

1. SINP point system is outside of FSWP point system. my understanding is you will need to qualify for both if you want to get into FSWP-EE with Sask's nomination.

2. I think the SINP without job offer category is fulled:
http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/sinp-application-intake-thresholds

Express entry and with job offer is still available

I would also like to know, I don't see LMIA mentioned anywhere in the guidelines. Does that mean in these streams, LMIA is not required to be nominated?

I do not think there is a separate Spread Sheet for PNP. I was mentioning my EE Spreadsheet number since you were asking my personal information.

Apparently yea. But they are keeping the SINP with job offers (5000) so it's an increase in total number

To both above questions, the answer is No. People apply for NOC 2171, 73 and 74 all the time, a lot of them are in EE as well as were in FSWP 2014 or for that matter CEC in 2014. None of them needed this. So probably it is only a requirement of SK
