Actually I think I made a mistake to send my documents to ICAS. WES is much more faster than them.

Presently my sister is visiting to Pakistan from USA and I m in KSA but my educational documents are in Pakistan for HEC attestation, please advise, Can I send my educational documents with her to USA so she will send to ICAS and receive on my behalf?

Hi dear
Firstly I strongly recommend you do not send you documents to ICAS, WES is faster than that. Secondly in my opinion that is possible to send your documents by your sister.

My friends got all documents from WES much faster. ICAS processing takes not less than 3 month. I think I will get my application at the end of September.

Guys I don't know what I was thinking when I sent my documents to ICAS. When I read the documents requirements on WES website I realized I could have gotten my assessment from them easily. My current status is :

I called them up and they said that documents were received on 22nd August but the system was updated later. I asked them how long it would take and they said 10 weeks if everything is in order. This means that I should get my report somewhere around the end of October. Do you think I should believe them and just wait or should I apply for WES ECA and spend another 260 $. I am applying for NOC 2171 and aiming to send the application by the end of October. I'm worried that I may miss the cap if ICAS takes too long. Please advise

U can surly get the ECA from WES quickly than ICAS. Make sure that your university is listed in WES.

Thanks Srvmh. My university is listed the WES list. But If I get the report from ICAS by the end of October as committed then spending another 260 $ is not worth it. Why was your status updated 4 times for documents received? Was your app incomplete or something? It has been twenty days since they received my documents and my status for completion check still hasnt been updated. If they ask me for further stuff later on then this may go as far as the end of november.

I called ICAS on tuesday and spoke with someone i was told is in charge of my evaluation. Shockingly, she sounded as if she is doing me a whole lot of good by evaluating my credentials and cant even give me a definite timeline on the exercise. Mine is over 3 months and all they could tell me is to keep checking my status on their website to follow up with the exercise.

I am considering sending a fresh application to WES...... I dont know any other way around this. I have never been this angry in my life.......EVER

I sent them an email about the time it takes to review the application for completeness and place it in the queue. My documents had been lying there for the last 20 days. They didnt reply to my email but the next day my status was updated to "application reviewed for completeness and placed in queue for assessment". Now I'm sure they plan to keep it like that for the next 3 months so I sent them another email asking them about whether they will be able to send the report now in ten weeks or not. I asked them to let me know if they cant so that I can send it elsewhere for assessment as well because I still have time for that. Lets see what they have to say now
