Hi I was wondering when filling out IMM5768 form (Financial evaluation for parents and grandparents) there are some questions about Previous and Current undertaking.

By current do they mean this undertaking that im filling out? or if i have other undertaking going on at the time of this application? I only sponsoring my mom and dad and i never been a sponsor before.

Also - if a question is not related to me do i just leave the answer blank? Or do i put NA in the field?

Thanks so much.

Yes, current undertaking means this application and previous means if you were co-signer with your spouse before this. Current undertaking number comes from IMM0008 Q3.

If didn't had previous undertaking, put zero don't leave it blank. Any other fields either put None or N/A, try not to leave anything blank. If needed after printing forms put None or N/A with black pen. This is from my experience 10 years ago with CIC. They returned my PR application because I left some fields blank and they included a letter instructing me to write None or N/A in all blank fields.

For Q8 and Q9 both you just need most recent (2012) numbers. But for Q9, if you have a co-signer, you need to add both of your numbers from NOA Line 150.

Hey,

Thanks a lot for your answer. I did have another question regarding the same financial evaluation form. for Q 15, Gross income benefit- do I show the gross income for the present year(2012) or for the period of time I have been with the company.

Once again would appreciate your help.

Thanks

It's for the entire time you worked for the company. For example, if you worked for four years for the same company than add line 150 from last four NOA and put it in. For current year take last paystub and see year to date salary and use that for current year (2013).

I started working in 2012, am I eligible to sponsor my parents? or I have to be working for the past 3 years before application?

According to current rule you have to meet at least past three year's financial requirements. Given rules will be same after three years; you will be able to apply in 2016.

Hi

while I was going thru the checklist, for there is a form for Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) / I am sponsoring my Mom, I don't have any siblings and she doesn't have any dependents either. Do I still need to submit that form but LEAVE IT BLANK.

Will greatly appreciate

do I need to submit that form

Hi,

Regarding the IMM 5768, Q15, should i add the 2013 year in the first line?
It is confusing (for my brain) because on the form question 15 is - "15. Provide your employment history as well as periods of unemployment for the last THREE consecutive taxation years preceding your application. Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time."
I don't have the taxes for 2013.....

Please help.

Thanks,

Alex

Ya I agree with u,

I think it should be the entire length of your employment with the company.

Thanks

They just want to know your financial situation in last three years. Having said that if you worked for a company for 10 years, you are free to provide only last three years. So for example, if you made $75K in 2010 and 2011, $80K in 2012 and December 2013 paystub says Year to Date Pay $85K than you will put - $315,000 ($75K +$75K +$80K +$85K).

I hope it's clear now.
