SPP Visa Refused . . Re-applied under non-spp...

Hi Friends,

I applied under SPP category on 5th July 2012 (Thursday).

Details as under:

1. IELTS : 7 Bands
2. Education Loan: 10 Lakhs
3. Liquid Funds : 4 lakhs
4. Course: Diploma in Industrial Microbiology (Fast Track) (got into 3rd Semester bcoz of my previous studies)
5. Previous Qualification: M.Sc.

Passport returned in 3 working days.

Visa status : Refused

Reason from VO : a. Not satisfied that i will leave Canada after the completion of my studies
b. Proposed Study not reasonable.

At present: Re- applied under non-spp.... Result Awaited. . . . .

Have u changed the course or applied with same documents with which u got refusal...before applying again for the same semester there should be a change in profile from before..what changes u made..??

1. What was the field of your MSc?
2. Diploma after MSc is not a good choice.

b. Applied with all the same Documents.
c. No change in my profile at all.

Only one extra document... i.e. Application to VO . . . thats it . . .

Another guy, "Alanraja", got his visa for a 1 year diploma/certificate program despite already holding a Master's. His was a PG program though... best of luck!

Hello Friends !

Sorry for the delay in replying to the above questions.

I am so glad to inform you all that i got the visa in 6 working days. I am now leaving
for Canada on 18th August 2012.

I would like to suggest the future visa applicant that:

1. It doesn't matter you apply through agent or as an individual applicant.

2. If you are refused under SPP category that doesn't mean you have to
change your course or other part of application.

Because i personally did not change my course or other things in my second application
under non-spp.

But ya! i wrote one application to VO stating my reason and my course relevance (half Page).

3. Nobody suggested me to reapply for visa, if the proposed study is same as in previous application.
Even in majority of the websites i found the same thing.
But i knew my application is strong and hence, got the result (Visa).

4. If your proposed study and previous study are related and have all the documents proper
you will get Visa.


PS: Master's holder's can get the visa for Diploma program in Canada.
SPP refused cases need not to necessarily change their course for the second application.
You can get your visa in 6 working days.

Above mentioned details are my personal experience. . . You cannot generalize the same thou. . .

Actually mine visa also got refused, and unfortunately for two times....I am also thinking of applying with the same course....please reply....

i also have the same condition, I have secondary education in Science (Biology), I had applied in post secondary Biotechnology technician (Industrial Microbiology) 2 years diploma course. The visa has been refused stating the same only one resion ....I am not convinsed that you will leave canada..........

as the proposed of study is not reasinable in light.........

Again I want to apply in same course but in Advanced Diploma with Coop......Does it work....what you say and can you please share your half page letter that you wrote to VO......my email id is saroj.dahal@gmail.com.

hallo.
i applied for mohawk collage for electrical engg teachnicain in 28 of july 2012..but i got reusal on 8th august that ur past study is relevant in lighting,academic score low,ielts band low, u will do this course in india with lesser amount.....my academic is given below
10 - 55% 2005
it engg - 61 2006
it - 65% 2007
ece 3 years dip-49% 2007 to 2010...2011 ( backlocks)
12th - 2011 arts( 55%) not mention in file
ielts - 6 bands..not lesser than 5.5
bank loan - 12 lakh
money - 2 lakk
dad gpf - 9 lakhs

After got one refusal i reaaply on 10 of august 2012 in generic category with same file .just one new document add application to visa oficr ( sop ).unfoutunetly, i got again refusal on 22 of august 2012 with the new reason that .......purpose of visit...means, this time my past refusals are not considered ....and this time they just add one reason..purpose of visit.....my consultent said me that this time this reason is for unvrelevant course...and u should reaaply again for january intake with new relevent just electronic course ........
