Based on what you’ve described, it sounds like you handled the Portal 1 emails correctly for yourself and your spouse, since both of you are currently inside Canada and are included in the PR application. You’ve already submitted the necessary details for both of you in response to the portal emails.@Miss bee
I received PPR mail for my name with families but I and my spouse are inside Canada and my dependent younger son is in home country. So, my dependent younger son submitted his Passport and one letter mentioned that I and my spouse are inside Canada. Then after two days, I received two portal 1 mails.
One has attachment for my name and second one has attachment of my spouse name.
So, I replied first mail with details of mine and my spouse. and I replied second mail with details of only my spouse. I did not mention the details of my dependent younger son and my non dependent elder son( age-25 , inside Canada on PGWP). Is it OK ?
Or I have to reply again with both son's detail ?
Or I have to reply again with detail of only one dependent younger son ?
I have two sons. One is 18 which is dependent on me and included in my PR application and he is in India.
Second one is 25 and He is not included in my PR application and he is in Canada on PGWP.
Please, guide me, as I am confused ?
As for your younger son, who is 18, dependent, and outside Canada, it’s also appropriate that he did not receive a Portal 1 email—he should instead go through the passport submission (PPR) and visa stamping process at the visa office in his home country. Since the outland process is different from the in-Canada eCOPR process, his information does not need to be included in your Portal 1 replies. So you do not need to resend anything or reply again with his details.
Regarding your elder son, who is 25 years old, on a PGWP in Canada, and not included in your PR application—there is no need to mention him at all. Since he is not part of the PR application, his details are not required in the portal process.
In summary, you do not need to send any additional replies. Your responses are fine as they are. Just ensure your younger son completes the passport submission process outside Canada, and you and your spouse follow the instructions through the PR confirmation portal to receive your eCOPRs.
