What is 2024 timeline for PR visa stamping in New Delhi office

PR Type: Family sponsorship ( Spouse)
Applicants: Primary Applicant + dependent child

Our passports reached IRCC Delhi on 28th Jan 2025 but no dispatch message later.

Tracker shows the following

Principal Applicant:
Biometrics : Completed
Medical exam: Completed
Background: Completed
Eligibility: Completed

Dependent Child ( 2 years ):
Biometrics : Exempted
Medical exam: Completed
Background: In progress
Eligibility: Not started


What is the background they are checking I am not sure. We submitted PR application on September 29th 2024. We got PPR message on Jan 9th 2025 and submitted both the passports at VFS hyderabad on 24th Jan 2025 and they reached IRCC Delhi on 28th Jan.

I am not sure what to do next. Please advice.

I tried calling them. No one picks call. I dropped 3 emails and 3 web form. No response. I called IRCC, agent does not have any clue. At this point of time there is nothing we could do other than waiting.

@arun1995 I do not see anything new in my tracker. If you don't mind can you also share the format of the counterfoil document number? Does it start with the letter T?

Yes right it starts with T. Also final decision changed from in-progress to approved. It takes some time for the tracker to reflect data from gckey.

Hope you get your passport soon now.
What do you mean by "gckey updated", can you guide where to check that?
I could see that COPR number: the one that starts with T was generated 2 days after passport reached IRCC, is it different from "counterfoil generated"

Just to be clear, in gckey please check final decision. For me it changed to approved yesterday, previously it was in-progress.
