I received the below email, as my application has not yet been linked or cant be linked to my GCAccount. (the letter has an application Number but not AOR of corse.)

I have had to submit it via the web form.

How long do they usually take once you have submitted the document via the web portal?

Anyone else has any experience with this?

Thank you

Update: I got my AOR today, but it was actually issued on Feb 27 (Thursday last week). My consultant didn’t send it to me or notify me at the time, and I only received it today after I asked.
I applied on Feb 4 2025

I’m a bit disappointed that I wasn’t informed right away, especially since I wanted to follow up on biometrics. The AOR mentions that if the biometrics fee hasn’t been paid, it needs to be paid first before receiving instructions. I don’t think I’ve paid yet, so I’ll be checking on that next) and the consultants hours are 10am to 6pm and it's 7pm now ... So I'll wait til tomorrow
Disappointment aside, I'm happy we received the AOR because our application wasn't returned to us due to incompletion or something. So yay!
Thank you for sharing. Do keep us posted once you get the AOR or any notification from them that will help a lot. I will do the same if i hear anything for them also.

This is weird. I paid in full just without the right of permanent residence fee (RPRF) but paid the bio fee, and I got my application returned after 15 days no AOR.
I filed multiple complains and report to IIRC and I guess they now may change their policy so that if you didn't pay, you'll still get the AOR maybe.
Also, if you paid the RPRF, you're good because how much you paid will got deducted one by one, so your bio fee will get deducted from the RPRF, and you just need to pay the bio amount back before they issue you the confirmation of permanent residence.

While, my application re-submitted on Jan 15th, got asked for a police statement and I uploaded on Feb 21st but till now, I got no AOR no bio instruction yet. I already linked application in GCKey and created tracker.

Last but not least, I encourage people to document your own timeline by posting here or in the signature like mine below before asking questions. That can help us understand your situation a lot better before providing any suggestions or solutions, and the shared information can inspire others, Thanks!

Hi All, an update from my end. I recived our application letter today AOR. and of corse the letter states to wait for the principle to receive Biometric letter if its been paid. I paid this at the time of paying the charges to save on time. So i guess i just have to wait for the Biometric letter.

Anyways. im having issue connecting my Application to my Gc IRRC portal. I click the link and fill in the details i input 1 as the principle applicat as i dont have any other member or dependent. (spouse In-land application) but it says no application can be found.

When i go to the other tracker it only lets me log in with the sponsors details but not under the principle application.

any advise on how to link it to my Gc account?

Thank you i will have to try again after 24 hours now.

on another note, now that we have the Application number and its in-land spousal sponsorship application. I presume we can apply for the Open Work Permit. However how do you apply meaning where to find the online application form to fill out?
