MBSK Location - I got email about my In-Person oath on March 17,2025 but as stated in the email that we can opt for Virtual by responding to the email immediately, I opted for Virtual Oath Ceremony.
However, Someone on Facebook Group where I asked this question said it could take months for IRCC to change it to Virtual Spot for me. Please is this possible ?

Yes this is normal. We have seen folks wait up to a month for oath scheduling. Your application is done, just be patient and you'll get your ceremony invitation soon.

Has anyone in Montreal got their oath ceremony process started? it has been over 2 weeks since my LPP changed to complete and it still says oath not started. Seems people in Toronto who got LPP much after me, got scheduled already. I thought it would be when they have new dates for oath ceremonies updated on the CIC site, which they did yesterday. It also seems they are not doing virtual anymore? everyone is in person from what I can tell.

What is your primary visa office, according to IRCC (please don’t assume based on your residence since they get transferred)?

No, that's the oath scheduling that gets done at the same time for group applications. In this case, the BG will be marked complete as it completes. Your wife's BG is just taking a bit longer, that's all.

Hello, it seems that you could use a data point from Edmonton.
From submission to oath ceremony: approximately 4.5 months.

App type: Single, online
Geographical location: Edmonton
Primary office: Vancouver
Physical presence Days: 1099
App sent: 19 Oct. 2024
AOR: 30 Oct. 2024
Tracking link: 01 Nov. 2024
Background complete: 08 Nov. 2024
Test office: Edmonton
Test invite: 28 Nov. 2024
Test taken: 02 Dec. 2024
Test completed: 03 Jan. 2025
Language complete: 07 Feb. 2025
Prohibitions complete: 07 Feb. 2025
Physical presence complete: 07 Feb. 2025
Citizenship Ceremony - In Progress: 25 Feb. 2025
Oath letter: 27 Feb. 2025, virtual ceremony
Oath: 06 Mar. 2025

If you are an administrator, or someone with access to the data sheet, could you please add my data to the record? Thank you.

For the Edmonton office:
Calculating the number of working days between each step, post-LPP throughout 2024, helped me in getting a general idea about their average timelines. For those who may find this helpful, here are the averages for 2024. Again, these are averages so you may be a few days off, don't stress about it.
"LPP Complete" to "Citizenship Ceremony - In Progress": 7 working days.
"LPP Complete" to "Oath Letter": 10 working days.
"LPP Complete" to "Oath Ceremony": 20 working days.

General feedback:
The data sheet was really helpful. Thank you for maintaining it and for those who contributed to its many entries.
Quoting forw.jane "Link to the Google Spreadsheet(tracker) - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P3V8UJOTwiiYd2TC8O5a5rKq4GlqpAXq9Zr1rfrScSc/edit?usp=sharing ".
The discussions were also helpful when researching specific topics. However, they tend to be shrouded by redundancy and unnecessary chatter.
Hey, no one is perfect, and misusing online forums is, unfortunately, integral to the human experience (and ad revenue...).

Finally, when the only thing you can do is wait, ruminating over the slowness/inconsistency of a procedure will not make the wait anymore pleasant.
Occupy yourself by doing something else and good news will reach you on time.

Thank you all, and best of luck to each of you.

Tracker invitation: Nov 02, 2024

Citizenship test invitation: Jan 06, 2025 for Jan 10 - Feb 9 test window
Citizenship test passed: Jan 10, 2025

Can anyone update my case in the tracking sheet? On Feb 18, the tracker updated that all other steps are completed except the Oath ceremony (status as of Mar 2 is still Not start).
I have been checking the tracker every day since :)) 2 weeks so far.
I didn't have to redo biometrics though. The only time I gave biometrics was in 2017, when I applied for study permit.
