I ordered my GCMS notes and from what I can understand is that criminality clearance has been pending since the start of my application. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Not much you can do at the moment.

I’m sorry to hear about the delay! I just checked in the study permit tracker and it looks like you’re not alone, there’s a couple of April cases open still: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/study-permit-tracker

One is from a Chinese national and the other one is from a Russian one. Looks like certain cases take much longer - you can check for yourself and see where they got stuck. Hope you get approved soon!

What does "We received your enquiry." mean? I think my lawyer did submit a webform with my new PAL is it at all related.

This is highly unusual. What is your citizenship and are you working in a field that could lead to concerns about IP theft or national security? Have you ordered GCMS notes?
