CSQ 2024 timeline - PEQ and QRSW

Pretty much it, probably not "normal" but they prolonged the processing times so not much you can do but be patient
They were topics unrelated to each other. For example, they asked me about how I learnt French (telling a story at B2 level basically). I'd say you should prepare for any surprises.
CSQ approved!!! Good luck to anyone who's been waiting for this. It's definitely a long process (10 months for me), but I'm glad it worked out in the end.

August 30: Request for more documents
September 9: Submitted requested documents
September 13: Avis de vérification
January 7, 2025: Request for an interview to verify French proficiency
January 28: Attended interview and passed
February 3: CSQ APPROVED!

Hi everyone, just want to ask if anyone got the same situation. For me, 9 months waiting already, but one of my French test result is going to be expired. Will I need to submit a new test result while this long waiting time? Thanks.
Hi, same page here. As I know your exams must be valid when you submit your application. However, what is your application status? did you get an avis de verification letter?

This was our Timeline:
Aug 12 24: Submitted the documents on Arrima PEQ Diplome
Aug 20 24: Request "Test de valeurs"
Aug 23 24: Submitted Test
Oct 24 24: Changed to "En traitement"
Jan 27 25: CSQ Approved
Feb 04 25: CSQ received by mail

For more information:
- We did not get asked for an interview
- I was the principal applicant since I did a Master's.
- I took the TCF-Canada exam and obtained C1 in Reading and Listening, B2 in Speaking and B1 on Writing
- My wife took the TEFAQ and obtained B2 in Speaking and Listening.

Yes, when I submitted the application my result was valid and my result is still valid now. What I mean is I am afraid it will be expire soon because I got that result almost a year before my application submitted. I have been wait for 9 months and since I received avis is already 5 months, and what they told is just stay patient.

Hi, Any family (Applicant & spouse ) who applied for csq together appeared for the interview with MIFI? My question is whether the spouse needs to attend the interview or only the main applicant.

I would like to know if you are in Quebec. I started my application in Montreal but now I´m in my country. I received the CSQ approval by email in Januery but I didn´t receive the physical document. I would like to know if I need to ask MIFI to send the CSQ to my actual address. Thanks.
