@Shiva91 Today I see background verification is done. COPR number is issued, haven't checked with my wife whether she received an email.

I will keep you posted. Really hoping you get some good news as well, I know you've been waiting boss.
Congratulations... Good News on the way...
@Shiva91 - Patience always pays off... looking to hear some good news from you too... Almost there

Application submitted on 18th May
I just called IRCC and they told me that my background check has not even started yet. Is that a possibility? It is so stressful for me because everyone has started to get there portal 1 emails.

Wow, really? Seems very unlikely tho. Maybe order GCMS notes

Good news. Hopefully, they will process everything and send eCOPRs soon for everyone. It has been a month since I submitted my info and photo for finalization, but it has been total silence since then. I hope that they will process and finalize all May applicants in one batch.

The issue that people are going to run into now is the medical expiring before eCOPR issue date.

Looking at you situation I'm suspecting I'll get Medical request as well. I did mine in 2019 and they passed it initially in the tracker and gc key but now it's been blank in GCkey for a month. Did you go through something similar?

This isn't very likely. I think you should wait another week. This week it was up to May 16th ish with some from May 20...
They said my eligibility is in progress and background check has not even started yet. Whereas I have got my AIP, SA and pre arrival. I was hoping to get my P1 soon.

I wouldn't rely on anything IRCC agents say when you call them. They've been known to not answer correctly when you ask them.
