I know many people still waiting for eCOPR and they had their PS in late Oct.
Well not sure if family class is different from other economic stream for eCOPR timeline.

Also Quebec has their own queue/timeline.

Hey, got an update. So, got a phone call with IRCC, they said they have a backlog, hence it can take months to get the ecopr/card. Still it should not exceed our in total average processing time. Basically, nothing new to be honest with you:D

I have contacted MP but doesn’t help.
As an update, after countless webforms and technical issue reports getting me nowhere with IRCC, I contacted to my MP. A couple days later got a phone call from their office, telling me that they touched base with IRCC, IRCC told them everything((like approval, copr etc.) was done on their end but was not reflected to my portal/was not visible in my portal and I am on the cue for that. She(MP office employee) told me to wait for mid Feb, if nothing happens give her a call again.
P2 date Dec 12.

There are huge backlogs of people waiting to land in all immigration programs. Assume IRCC is slowly issuing eCOPRs and COPRs to spread out intake and not fill the allocated quota in the 1st half of the year if not faster for many programs. Also this distributes work over the year. If they approve all eCOPRs in the queue from 2024 in January then everyone will also start applying for PR cards causing backlogs issuing them for example. In some programs people have been waiting since late summer for eCOPR.

Essentially confirming what someone had already posted. Realistically won’t be able to do anything in February. As long as others are waiting with similar P2 dates you’re just waiting your turn and nothing MP can do about that.

Yes, I understand the backlog, which is no ones fault in personal level, it is a systemic/infrastructure problem. Yet, the part I do not understand is seeing many people had later AOR dates or P2 dates than mine already getting their PR cards and I am still waiting. Of course, mine is not the worst case, I am also aware there are many people have been still waiting with AOR/P2 dates way earlier than mine.
The part I do not understand is, accountability and service standards part. Like, there is no standard from officer to officer or case to case, there is no transparency. PR application feels like doing something like voodoos or magic and wait for ancient gods to response in modern times, while everything else has standards and tracking information these days.
Still, thank you for your soothing response.

Since the end of November 2024, my wife is currently waiting for eCOPR. Would it be possible to apply for her Ontario health card? I visited Ontario Services, and they said they need an IRCC letter, saying the applicant has early approval for the PR application. But we haven't received an early approval from the London UK Office. We have submitted web-form and emailed asking for a letter that can help us to avail medical while she is waiting for eCOPR, but they have not responded to our request. Any suggestions, on what we can do to avail medical services?
