I see most of us aug,sep applicant got sowp approved recently, i applied on 26 sep got approved on 13 nov. Similarly many got approved within 30-50 days.

Maybe i am wrong, but I think people who already have a work permit and only need to renew it have an answer more faster ! In our case, my husband status is visitor he never had a work permit, it’s been 90 day since we submit the papers and still nothing. I think we need to be more patient the website say 166 days of delays now …

Have been waiting for 118 days. So all need to serve their wait times unless someone is extremely lucky and got approved by an AI

Millions got their visitor visa in the last 2 years and claimed asylum. This is the software that processed all those

Does anyone know if we need to apply to renew my husband’s Visitor status 30 days before the 6-month mark? We are still waiting for his initial OWP (under the spousal program, we applied on Aug. 23 so I doubt we will receive by January 9, date on which his Visitor status expires). I am not sure if maintained status applies here being this is his initial OWP application.

Since he applied for OWP after AOR of sponsorship application, he is under maintained/implied status.
