Maybe i am wrong, but I think people who already have a work permit and only need to renew it have an answer more faster ! In our case, my husband status is visitor he never had a work permit, it’s been 90 day since we submit the papers and still nothing. I think we need to be more patient the website say 166 days of delays now …I see most of us aug,sep applicant got sowp approved recently, i applied on 26 sep got approved on 13 nov. Thanks for sharing! Good to know they haven’t completely stopped working on spousal sponsorship files..Thanks, @Gaurav A
Something Good to hear, IRCC started to make decisions on April 2024 inland applications.
none i guess.Has anyone got any update on their sponsorship application?
Since he applied for OWP after AOR of sponsorship application, he is under maintained/implied status.Does anyone know if we need to apply to renew my husband’s Visitor status 30 days before the 6-month mark? We are still waiting for his initial OWP (under the spousal program, we applied on Aug. 23 so I doubt we will receive by January 9, date on which his Visitor status expires). I am not sure if maintained status applies here being this is his initial OWP application.
