AOR: Aug 01 2024

Biometrics request: Aug 06 2024

Insufficient Income letter : Aug 10 2024
Case forwarded by Visa Officer to RROC Ottawa

Reason for income revision letter from CPA and confirmation of Income eligibility Affidavit showing surplus income than required submitted : Aug 16 2024

No response or movement in file since August 16 2024.

I got my 2022 income reassessed in April 25 2023 and got the Notice of reassessment on May 05/2023.

Reason for income reassessment : My CPA accidentally miscalculated dividends and submitted wrong income for taxes on April 15 2023. When he realized the error we resubmitted correct income 77200 on April 25/2023. Notice of reassessment(77200) was issued on May 05 2023 way before the October 2023 draw.

I submitted both Notice of assessment (63300)and Notice of reassessment (77200) when submitting the file in Dec 2023.

Can anyone please suggest me anyway could get the file in movement.?

Seeking Guidance: Exemption for Medical Exam for Non-Accompanying Dependent in PGP Application

Hello everyone,

My wife and I are sponsoring my mother-in-law (Principal Applicant) under the Parent and Grandparent Program (PGP). As part of the application, my father-in-law is listed as a non-accompanying dependent. Recently, IRCC requested both of them to undergo medical exams and provide Police Clearance Certificates (PCC).

The challenge is that my father-in-law is unable to travel long distances due to a severe phobia of air travel and health concerns related to long road journeys. The nearest designated medical facility is about 10 hours away by road, which he cannot handle. He is only comfortable traveling short distances to nearby cities.

We understand the consequences of not completing the medical exam for him and are seeking advice on how to request an exemption. My father-in-law is fully aware that being exempted from the medical exam could impact his eligibility for sponsorship under the Family Class in the future. Despite this, he wishes to proceed with the exemption request and is willing to provide the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) as requested.

My mother-in-law, the Principal Applicant, has no issues traveling to complete her medical exam and is also willing to provide the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) as requested.

How should we properly explain this situation to IRCC to request an exemption for my father-in-law's medical exam? Any guidance or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Last email I received just says Landings IRCC. Prior to this email all communication was from Mississauga office.

Sorry about your situation. If I were you I would try calling the IRCC and see if the agent could put notes on your file noting the error made by your accountant and that you have since provided everything you could to prove that it was an error and that you do meet the income requirements. Another thing you could possibly do is to see if you could order notes on your file? That way you'd know if they have received the additional information you sent in and what the VO thinks of that.

Rejected as in the application rejected or the biometrics? If latter, I didn't even know that biometrics could be rejected.

Oops, yes, I meant the application.

I guess after lots of reading, lots of things can still happen after they've asked for biometrics.

The only thing I could think of is if biometrics provided lead to inadmissibility to Canada e.g. crime etc.

I received AOR on 30-August-2024. Will I get another request for CSQ or I can apply after AOR?

Finally the email I've been waiting for - PR was confirmed!!! I'm replying to the email for them to issue the CoPR, it requires me to state the original entry date, however, i'm not sure what this would be. My mother has been in Canada with me since last year however, she had gone to India for a month in April. Would the date she entered Canada this year be the one I should enter? Since she was on a supervisa, trying to figure out what date I should enter. It also asks to enter the last time I entered Canada. Would the 2 dates be the same in this case?
