(( its sick... its not faire to hold people in limbo..No AOR. This government is sleeping at the wheel.
Ukrainians have been provided some of the most generous programs so not sure you can accuse them of being asleep at the wheel. Processing for any non-economic PR programs are typically slow and not necessarily a priority. The families attempting to sponsor people from Sudan have been waiting close to a year and they must prove they can provide financially for all family members to even sponsor them to come to Canada. No AOR. This government is sleeping at the wheel.
Not even about racism in general humanitarian programs, especially PR, are not as big a priority for IRCC than most others types of PR programs when it comes to processing. Canada’s programs for Ukrainians have been more generous than any other humanitarian program which has set a very dangerous precedent which the government was warned about.I do understand that there is still systemic racism and do feel for the people from Sudan.
The full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine likely would not have occurred if the Democratic Party had not been in power in the US and Liberals in Canada.I will also add that if the Conservatives had been in power, it's pretty much guaranteed this immigration program would have never existed, same for the CUAET program. People who have applied through this program to sponsor family members are extremely extremely lucky the Liberals were in power at the right time.
Thanks for joining and immediately posting laughably incorrect information about Conservative policies with regards to immigration. The full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine likely would not have occurred if the Democratic Party had not been in power in the US and Liberals in Canada.
BTW, Conservatives had much more reasonable immigration policies and constantly increased the number of PRs issued to applicants.
They mostly invited skilled workers who would help build and strengthen Canadian economy unlike Liberals and NDP who opened flood gates and brought people who do not contribute, but use up all financial aid while Canadians get poorer and poorer.
I noticed that you guys fearmonger here and blame Conservatives for what Liberals have broken, and could not resist. Thanks for joining and immediately posting laughably incorrect information about Conservative policies with regards to immigration.
I can't be bothered to comment on the rest.
This forum is to assist people with real advice who are going through various IRCC processes. You need to go somewhere else since you want to argue politics. There's nothing of value you can contribute here.
You certainly don't need my approval. I would however encourage you to read about past Conservative immigration policies.I noticed that you guys fearmonger here and blame Conservatives for what Liberals have broken, and could not resist.
Thank you for demonstrating your liberal values by immediately trying to silence and ostracize anyone whose opinion does not match your narrative.
I am Canadian and Ukrainian, and do not need your approval to post whatever I think is important.
I don't think anyone has answered this question. It may slow down processing further and this means it may take longer to process applications. In my opinion that would be the main impact. IRCC will still however process all of the applications that have been submitted. Will the reduction in the numbers of permanent residents, to be officially announced today, affect this application stream?
It is doomed if the war keeps going on.Is Trump going to pull the plug on Ukraine? Is Ukraine doomed?
