Okay thank you so much. Last few questions. You scanned and printed the documents and then submitted it right?
Also what is the address that I have to send it to and does the size of the envelope matter? Or Canada post can help me with the envelope and address?
I scanned and printed the new passport (first two pages and any page with a stamp, visa etc), current pgwp and university transcript. Proof of payment and letter of explanation you can print. Fill the document checklist and application on your computer digitally and then print those. Remember to validate your application and print the barcodes. Put your documents in order as they appear on checklist with the checklist on top.
Follow the instruction guide IMM5580-paper application. Under submit your application the mailing address is given it's in edmonton. I bought a medium size xpresspost prepaid regional (I live in alberta) envelope. If you're in some other province get a national envelope. You can take your documents with you to a canada post, buy the envelope, put all your documents inside, fill the address and mail it.

Thank you so much!
Also did you link your paper application to online application?
No problem! Yes I did it around 2 months after I mailed my application. I didn't try earlier so I'm not sure after how long someone is able to link their paper application to their online gckey account.

One more question, did you just printed the first page of the new passport and the one with which you had the first work permit or did you print all the passports?

sorry the questioned just keeps coming.

Safest way is to take first and last pages printouts along with all the pages which has stamp on it. Do it for both the passports- new and the cancelled one. There is no harm if they get few more pages, problem may arise if you skip a vital page.

Okay perfect, also do I need to print it in a specific way or I can just use my home printer?
Since my passport was new I had no stamp no visa so I just scanned and printed the first 2 pages. You should scan and print any page with a marking. And my work permit wasn't attached to my passport I scanned that seperately and printed that. Just make sure your document copies are clear and legible. I scanned my documents at 200dpi and printed them single sided in color at home.
