Hi. Can anyone provide information. I have applied for work permit, LMIA based, high wage. From Pakistan
Biometrics and Medical completed till February 2024

The tracker says Application is in progress
Eligibility in progress
Background check in progress.

When is it likely to get approved?

Average processing times from my country is 24 weeks.

Impossible to say if and when application will be approved. What NOC? Around 6 months is not unrealistic.

Order GCMS notes. What did you show that you will return? Are you employed now? How much money did you show to come work in Canada? What was salary of NOC? When does LMIA expire?

Hi there, I'm employed at a Government Department in officer grade in Pakistan. I showed nothing that I'll leave, how can i change this? I had not adequate amount in my account, just the salary would come and go. The LMIA expires in June 2025. The salary was 30.50 dollars per hour

So how much did you show in funds because Canada is expensive? Getting settled and finding housing is not cheap. What is the NOC? So you have no ties to return? Show with your ECA and work experience the job prospects when you return.

I showed no funds. NOC 12010. I'm married with 2 kids at home, so i thought it's enough for returning. How can i show with ECA

Get a letter from employer. Do you have ECA and IELTS? If not, do that because you are in an office role. How are you getting to Canada, renting an apartment, buying furniture/clothes/food with no money? Just an apartment will be thousands.

I submitted reference letter from employer. I had 7.5 bands in IELTS. No ECA. My brother is a Canadian citizen, who lives in the same town where the job offer is.

So how can you prove you can do the job with no ECA over Canadians? Brother being Canadian is not relevant. You showed no funds, no ties to return, no employment when you return. Canada is cracking down on all these LMIAs so you need a strong profile.

Yeah I'm getting it. But i need to know what proof should i give that i will return, i have no idea about this one
