Hi everyone, i'm showing 30 lakh funds (9 lakh loan against FD + 21 lakh Liquid Fund) for Visa. I have property evaluation of atleast 1.2 crore. My agent is not willing to show property evaluation papers. Is it okay to show it or not?
Property is a big part of country tie. You MUST show them. Agents are always looking for ways to make your visa get rejected so that they can ask you to reapply and get more money. Dirty people!Rupak14 said:Hi everyone, i'm showing 30 lakh funds (9 lakh loan against FD + 21 lakh Liquid Fund) for Visa. I have property evaluation of atleast 1.2 crore. Hi rhasan, Thanks for the Reply. I think U are right but I searched about property evaluation and found one post of Enfield in which he saysrhasan said:Property is a big part of country tie. I'm again confused and agent is saying no need to attach property documents with Visa file and if we attach them Visa may be rejected because of attaching additional documents. So now please suggest what to do ???enfield said:Hi to all,
There is absolutely NO NEED to submit any property documents/valuation certificate for student visa. When Canadian embassy (India) do not even entertain any notorized affidavit/legal stamp paper thn how is it possible for them to take notice of your Property Certificates/Papers.
I quote SPP/GENERAL Visa checklist (India)
“DO NOT PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS UNLESS REQUESTED TO DO SO BY A VISA OFFICER. Example of documents not to be submitted with study permit applications include: fixed deposits, property documents, documents from chartered accountants, jewellery assessments, life insurance policies”
Oh if you are from India, you should listen and take enfield's advice. India's application requirements are generally different from places like Bangladesh and Pakistan .Rupak14 said:Hi rhasan, Thanks for the Reply. Hi enfield, Thank you so much for replying. I don't get any income from my property like rent, lease. That means i don't have anything related to my property to attach. So, I will take your advice and will not attach any property papers or evaluation certificate.enfield said:Hi,
You can add/show any income from your property, like rent, lease etc, and for that you need to attach 'receipts' (the same is applicable for agriculturists).
*You won't find this rule anywhere in SPP/General visa checklist. I am saying it on the basis of one letter which I received from CHC Chandigarh (as part of my deferral issue). On that letter I noticed one column which states that you can submit property rent/agriculture income receipt as part of your income. But it does not mean that you need any property evaluation certificate.
Hi Sarah, I have been already rejected once because of studies mismatch under SPP. Someone told me we should show strong ties when applying under general category So i was thinking i should attach property evaluation to show strong ties to my country.Sarah Dhanoa said:I attached property evaluation and i got visa too.. that's not a problem !!

Hi Enfield, Thanks for the valuable information. I completely understand what you mean. Thanks again.enfield said:Hi,
See, there is NO HARM if you attach things like SOP, Property Valuation papers
I always like to talk on facts, but not on opinions. You can use whatever makes you confident but all I am saying that you MUST not over rely on such instruments but rather use it like a supplement (with no hopes of it's working). I really do not see any logic of going out of SPP/General Visa checklist. It's on you to decide what's best for you. Even for SOP, I have always maintained that it's USELESS, but there is NO HARM in attaching the same.
You can read your SPP/GENERAL Visa checklist (India). It's clearly mention over there that;
“DO NOT PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS UNLESS REQUESTED TO DO SO BY A VISA OFFICER, OR YOUR FILE WILL NOT BE GIVEN PRIORITY PROCESSING UNDER SPP. Example of documents not to be submitted with study permit applications include: fixed deposits, property documents, documents from chartered accountants, jewellery assessments, life insurance policies”
