Wait for it. My VO is Whitehorse and they are currently approving the October files and some VOs are Processing December files. So I would say just hang tight.

March 22nd was the deadline I submitted it on March 19th. And previous week I got the email that we have received your additional documents. So I think now they have started reviewing them.

Yes i did but I haven't got it yet. Also I called IRCC today and asked about my status. She said that my background check status is "not applicable" but It's in progress at the moment actually. So you are right. We need to give them time to work. Hope it's not too long.

My background check status changed from "not applicable" to "We are processing your background check". Anyone same?

I am stuck with the police records of Mexico, someone else is in the same situation, I have been in this process for 5 months, I sent them since January and the FGR informed me that they returned them to the Canadian embassy in Mexico in April but I have not had any updates on my portal.

I am from Mexico too and I am in the same step. Waiting for the background check. I contacted Canadian embassy in Mexico and they rolled that they received our results and upload them to my applicantion.
Nothing we can do, just wait. I checked with other Mexicans and it takes like 6
Months get completed the background xheck.
