No P1 for me this week. Let's see if I get it next week. I worry I'll be one of those people who don't get the email and then have to call IRCC to figure out what happened. Either that or it's coming from the Montreal VO and that's delaying things.

Hello everyone, my application had my old passport which expired last week. I was requested to send new passport yesterday and I submitted that using webform. Does anybody know how much delay would it be because of that? How long does webform take usually?
I did get a generic response saying We're experiencing a high volume of requests, so our response may be delayed. Well respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
Application submission date was 26th September 2023.

I never received direct responses to the two webforms I sent. I received only automatic acknowledgements and a message about a week or two later saying they forwarded my message to the office processing my application. Then a few days later the tracker said they had received my enquiry. IRCC asked me for a police certificate soon after I applied. I sent a webform with and explanation and that was the end of it. The process continued normally after that. So, I'd say it doesn't really delay the process much as long as you send the document within the deadline they give you.
