Funny how background checks effectively stopped for us December applicants on February 29th and everyone else gets theirs willy nilly. Doesn't matter though, something something seed in the ground.

At least some offices (looking at you Vancouver) are just now sending out oath emails and completing LP while we wait for Background checks to complete, which could take another 6 months.

Oh yeah, and no point checking for updates Monday/Tuesday due to their 2-day lag in profile updates. No point calling either since any lack of update today will still show up on Wednesday on the tracker.

Citizenship office is planting bigger seed in January's applications and watering them day by day

For the people complaining… i ve been resident permanent since 1998 im 31. I dont except to wait has long as someone who just did his 5 years probation. I lived 25 years here. Sent jan 29 only llp left for me. Its quick has i hope it would be because they have 25 years of history about me lol. I just never applied for it like ALOT of canadian. So i guess they wont make us wait like someone who just got here. Hope this would help y’all be more calm and wait.

What about Feb apps that are having a radio silence.. no test invite, no backgrounds etc.. only AORs and nothing after.. it's been already a month for some..

I don’t know ‍ I have applied as soon as I completed my 3 years out of 5 which was literally 3 years because I didn’t left the country much . I applied on Dec 2nd and got my oath invitation today .
