Dear All,

Me and my wife are currently 40 years old with both having over 10 years of work experience outside Canada. I am in IT and wife is in Construction Management. My IELTS score was 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7 (L, R, W, S) respectively.

My CRS score on calculator comes as 422 with my Spouse as dependent.

What are my chances of successfully applying for a Canadian Visa?

Low. You need to increase your score. Consider taking an accelerated program to learn French as one option and make sure you have maxed out your English language test results to get the most points.

With this score, your chances are low. Getting a provincial nomination is probably the only way you can increase your score.
