Did you get a response yet ?? It’s now October 12, 2023.

Our file also says background check in process since May 2023 and they already asked us via email for all previous travel documents (& travel documents sent july).

Nothing has been updated since then .
Anyone know how long more is the wait?
What’s the next step??

Anyone got their visa/PR yet??

If someone got their visa to Canada please share, at least this will bring others some relief and hope.

25 months waiting, my medical exams will expire on April 16 ..... .....
I received my notes from Gcms and realized that we have been under RCMP evaluation since September 2019 .....

Does anyone know if this is "Security" or security is apart?

I received an email stating that my file was transferred to the Hamilton office in June 2023. Since then, there have been no updates. I followed up with IRCC, and they mentioned it's still under background check. I'm not sure what to do at this stage. It's been 31 months since I applied for PR. - Anyone with same situvation

Me too…. But I see you didn't get your police check done... That might be the delay. It is been a long time though. Did you contact Hamilton?
