Hello,

I am a Permanent Resident in Canada and intend to sponsor my brother who is disabled. He has done matriculation and has no job experience.

Both my parents are expired and my youngest sibling is currently looking after him in my home country but having issues.

I have a sister as well who is married and she cannot look after him.

Is there any way that I can move him to Canada?

Are you single? Do you have any children? Any other relatives living in Canada?

Thanks for responding me!

Please see below criteria

You can sponsor an orphaned brother, sister, nephew, niece or grandchild only if they meet all of these conditions:
  • they’re related to you by blood or adoption
  • both their mother and father passed away
  • they’re under 18 years of age
  • they’re single (not married or in a common-law or conjugal relationship)
My brother is almost 33 years of age so one of the criteria is not meeting.

No I am married with two children. There are many relatives in Canada but from my wife's side
In that case you unfortunately cannot sponsor your sibling.

You cannot sponsor him. Have discussion with your siblings in home country and look into paying for care taker in addition to care from siblings.
(You will need to pay for that even if he can come to Canada)
