hello,
just got my medical results back, now I wasn't aware of the creatine test, I work out every day, have a high protein diet and take creatine supplements.. so its little wonder my creatine level was 1.73 (normal is 1.3).. For the record 1.73 is only slightly elevated, its not something to worry about and by no means suggests you're going to have kidney failure..
Unfortunately saying this to the doctor was a bit of a waste of time as they just record the results and send them to the IRCC, who just look at results and tick boxes..
So basically I need to stop fasting, eat less protein and pause my training for a few weeks until my levels are back to normal, and if (and I think they will) the IRCC ask me to do a follow up, I should be fine.
Creatine is generated in the muscles when you work out.. its a waste product..
