Please help . unemployed - affect citizenship.

happy new year all . wish you one of the greatest years in your life
my biggest concern is that i’ve been unemployed since many years . landed as a refugee,studied most of the time but never been on job because of disability.
i had an accident then i have been on welfare for about a year.
due to all these unfortunate events i fear of applying for citizenship. since i passed the 3 years period.
i heard that it could it be refused such cases as mine for reasons ( unemployment + welfare).and will be deported
what do you recommand me please. i am definitely desperate at this time.
note that i have a clean criminal record too
any insights will be appreciated

You can apply. Being unemployed has no impact.

Agree that being unemployed is not an issue.. if you are living on social assistance you are unlikely to have the funds apply for citizenship. If you don’t have the extra funds you can remain a PR indefinitely without issue unless you commit certain crimes.
