Hi Guys I submitted file for my mother on 20th Dec 2023, and did not received any confirmation Email not even system generated
Same thing happened it took me couple attempts to submit it and then it got stuck logged out and logged back in and it said submitted not sure what to do next .....Calling IRCC is a nightmare never got connected with the menu options finally when did it asked for application # which I dont have

hi Bud, Yes send an inquiry to IRCC and bring it up with them, I remember applying for my parents and never receiving any confirmation email, but we got the AOR 6 months down the line.

Submit the webform under technical issues, won't require UCI. Put everything in the body of the enquiry. That's what I did

have you received any updated of your inquiry ? i just got an email and it says they cannot find the application :|

Thanks for sharing more information . I have not received anything like this either but i cannot resubmit it I think. Do you know if we can fill webform ? We dont even have application number. IRCC person said u will get it once officer will look in to it then only application number will be assigned to us.

Have you received any update from ircc about the inquiry submitted?

If you login to the IRCC account (from where you submitted the application), does it show you application as 'Submitted' with the date/time when you did? That means they have your application, for some reason the automatic email did not work. Also you will be able to download a zip file which is a bundle of all the files you sent them including the forms you filled online, that link appears even while the form remains as submitted. That's how mine is showing right now (I sent the application on Oct 22nd)

Dear All,
I applied for my Mother in Law on Dec 18, Got the confirmation, What is the wait time for AOR ? , Given that she is currently present in Canada on Supervisa, What is the current processing time ?

I dont think there's a definitive timeline for the AOR, from what i've read on this forum from people who sent it during previous intakes it depends on every application. I sent mine on Oct 22nd and dont have it still. I've read about cases where people got AOR in about 2 months and then were asked for additional docs, in other cases asked to send extra docs first then got the AOR months later, so it really depends. We just have to wait and see.

What I did is fill webform, call IRCC …. But they said if the status is “submitted “ it should be fine…. I’m confused…I suggest you to call them, at least we let them know there is a technial issue, it’s not our fault…

Hey where did u call to talk to ircc .as it requires application number or uci whivh i dont hv now.
I have submitted the enquirey for which i got the response saying that the application is not in the system yet.
I have submitted on 19th Dec and that time i got technical error and then it shows submitted. I can download the package n the status is submitted. I hvent received the confirmation because of which i sent the enquirey.

Hi There,
Recently I received an email from IRCC stating that I do not qualify to sponsor Parents or Grandparents as family income was below the threshold amount. *Correction here as the Case officer out of no where is calculating the income of 6 people when in reality its just myself, wife,daughter and my parents. I had my sister living with us at that time but she was well over 22 years of age(hence Independent) and earning a six figure salary. I shot back an email to the officer about the confusion. I did get a call from IRCC verifying about my sister last week, now 3 days ago I again got an email with the same reasoning stating that my sister being a dependant at that time(D.O.B 1999) where in actual she is 1992 born. Again I have to correct the officer and sent him her birth certificate,PR Card and license as a proof. I fail to understand as the people working there do not check the application or documents attached properly or if its done deliberately and what should I do next ?.

It was the 2020 application for which I received an invitation on December 2022

I missed reading the one part of the application instruction for PGP 2023 that all passport pages of the Principal applicant and Dependent must be photo copied and submit which I missed, I only sent the bio page and the UCI number. What should i do? best option.

If she is living under your roof she could be considered in your family size. Has she remained in your home? Did she have a lease? Can you prove that she was a tenant versus a family member living in your home? If having other family members living with you while sponsoring parents it is better to have proof that they are a tenant and paying to live in your home and are financially independent from you and your parents.

Extremely variable anywhere between 1-3 years.

Like you I too have sent just the bio page, I suppose we just have to wait at least until we get the AOR and an application number after which we could perhaps email them a scanned copy of all the pages. Nothing else that I can think of.

I received a totally irrelevant response, asking me to clean browser cache.. and try again.. totally ignoring my original request... and asking me to submit another webform if the issue still exists.. I wonder if they even read the original inquiry
