My OCI ACK is OCT 14
status is under process- Vancouver CGI

Does anyone know when I might get it processed? my flight date is Nov 30. Should I apply for an entry visa

processing has reached till 4-5th October.

So going by it close to 21-Nov your application will get processed and 3-4 days after that you will have it.

Any delay would mean it will be very close to your travel date. If you don't want to be tensed, it makes sense to apply for entry visa which you will get atleast a week before your travel date.

If you doing in-person, they check and return it. If postal, self attested copy is enough, no need to send original.

Thank you. That is very helpful to know that I can just send a self-attested copy as I plan to apply by post, as the walk-in waiting is too long.

My postal application was received by BLS Surrey on 13th Nov(tracked via Purolator), there is no update on the portal yet. When should I see the first udpate?

Hello everyone, I have applied for the OCI at the Mississauga office and below is the information on the BLS OCI Tracking website. I have seen nothing on the OCI main tracking website. Who should I reach to get an update as it is almost close to a month. I have seen that the application is usually trackable on the https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury website but nothing for me so far. Any help/guidance would be truly appreciated. Cheers.

Hello Guys,
Has anyone experienced an error while submitting a picture & signature? I Just can't seem to get past that page due to that error. I don't get the option to crop the image. Please help the experts on this thread.
