There are multiple apps like Numero that allow you to get a Canadian phone number.

Btw, CoPR number is irrelevant. Won't be much of help if you bring terms like those up during interviews/list of them on resume as most employers don't understand what a CoPR is. Infact, never list your "status" on resume either - those type of info on resume is considered a liability and hence ATS/screening systems reject applications with that info automatically.

Job hunting from abroad can be a bit of a challenge, especially when employers want a local contact number. You can get a Canadian mobile number while you're still outside the country. One way to do it is through Simify. They offer international SIM cards that include Canadian numbers.
It's super handy because you can start applying for jobs and have a Canadian number on your resume. Plus, employers will see that you’re serious about moving and working in Canada. I had a buddy who did this, and it made a big difference in his job search. He felt more connected and employers were more responsive. Also, having that local number helps with networking and setting up interviews, whether they're phone calls or video chats.
