Sputum exam THIRD XRAY

Hello, I am in the same situation. The sputum tests is cleared and already submitted to CIC.
My question is, how long does it usually take for the passport request to be asked by IRCC?

Hello, I been ask for sputum collection on oct. 2,3,4, what to be the nxt steps after getting sputum collection and pls give me timeline base on ur experience after u get ur ppr since the day ur sputum is collected?

We're done medical examination with my 5 kids...and after 5 day I received an email that I have to have sputum collection on oct. 2,3,4 ..can anybody tell me the timeline were to get the sputum results and I did not have any 2nd x-ray ..can anyone answer me .. thnks..

You’re welcome. I know it’s a long wait but you’ll get there. I knew some who did more test after that but they are here now in Canada. I hope you will get approved soon

Not the OP. You have to wait for 3 months to get another xray and sputum results. This will be mentioned to you when you go for sputum.

I received a mail from LDNPPMD@international.gc.ca about additional medical examination after I have done my sputum test and TB not detected. then, IOM requested for additional post sputum xray, which i did on the 19th October , it still says abnormal same result as the 1st xray that made them request for sputum test. Since then I have not gotten feedback what do I do. I also got a mail from the above after am done with all these test. My question is the mail thry sent to me a late message that's also referring to the post sputum xray i have done or is there a different additional medical examination they need. I don't know who to ask and their lines are not reachable

IRCC will contact you directly through email, so keep an eye on it.

Now that TB has not detected there seems to be concerns that you may be suffering from another lung condition.

So when i had my initial upfront medical i was required to take a sputum test because there were some irregularities on my xray. After 3 months of waiting for the results i had to do a 2nd xray and i was told that my xray actually improved meaning the irregularities they saw the first time was lessened. Unfortunately because of this, they said that they will submit my results to CIC with the recomendation that i take another x ray after 3 months! It doesnt make sense to me since all tests has been negative including the sputume culture but they said it will be the panel physician who will decide if my medical is approved or if i really need to take another xray after 3 months. They said the final result, if i passed or not, will be known after 10 days more.

Has any one else been in this situation and can i get tips on your experiences? Im hoping that eventually CIC would not require me to take another xray bec it will again delay my visa application.

What happened next ? Did you get 3rd x ray request through embassy ?

I wasnt aware about my wifes past tb condition as her family lied about it to me for some reason they know best. Hence i declared no past tb history in her student visa application form.



After medical they have seen scarring and have instructed for sputum and xray after 3 mths as well as a ct scan.



The consulting doctor said that since she doesnt have past history and if he sees any scarring on ct scan he will put her on medication.



However after consulting outside doctor they have strictly advised against medication as the tb isnt active.



What should i do ? Should i go back n tell the truth or is there some other option as we are stuck now.

Unfortunately IRCC does not take any advice apart from their designated medical panel. The 3 month process is basic. If you got medical furtherance you have to follow and wait for correspondence from IRCC. Wait for 3 months and repeat xray.

I can understand.
You are already in the process of going through furtherance so just follow it.
Yes go ahead discuss it.
Medication is not a big deal, if she is referred it would be to make it latent. If she is referred so she has to go for it.

That is what I was thinking as well.
I think just don't take any further step from your side ( approaching doc or going anywhere else)and just follow what IRCC says...
