New PR confirmation portal

Have a question, do irrc contact you dependant through email or postal mail for corp and PR letter?
Did portal 2 October 5.

Dependents are in Canada or outside Canada ?

I am CEC inland and my dependant (husband) is outland.

My husband received the ready for visa in gckey but I haven't received my PR portal login details yet to land virtually.

Can he submit his passport for printing while I wait for my login details and ecopr?

What is postal office mail ? physical mail ? if yes, havent heard or seen a case where IRCC sends a physical mail for submission of passport. It will either an email or a request letter in GCKey.

Cause we had received a letter in gkey telling us steps to do and thong to carry when taking our passport in to vac, but he has to be landed first and it has 30 day period on it that going to be expired 26 of this month. He already did portal 1 and 2 and waiting on ecopr. Can the dependant carry their passport to the vac office or should we wait on ecopr first?

okay, so you have already received request to submit passport. Not sure if you need to wait for eCOPR, but since you only have 30 days to submit, I think you need to submit within that timeline. Do you own research as I am not an expert in this matter.

Going to let him call irrc, it's very confusing. Cause you have to get ecopr to be landed?

For sure dependent CANNOT land till primary gets the eCoPR.

Mine took 6 days 29th September portal 1 and portal 2 October 5th.
