Sorry what does MP mean and how will you know who to look for? And how do you involve them?
its Member of Parliament and you can search your by post code in https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en
I called IRCC today and they said that my file is still under processing time that is 6 months for AIP . So I need to wait and if I don't get ECOPR by 22nd October then they will send a reminder to the officer . Until then i need to wait .

Wait. I was told by an agent that once we get portal 1 the processing time stops counting.
I really don’t know if I can believe on anything they say anymore…
because right now I’m waiting for over a month and if this still counts, in two weeks my processing time will be due
