Quick Update: BLS Brampton continues to process the OCI applications. But due to the current situation almost 100% of the applicants with appointments are turning up at the center. Earlier, only about 50% of the people with appointments actually turned up. So, if you're planning to walk-in, please reach at least 2-3 hrs before the center opens. The guard told the people in the walk-in queue that with the current situation, very limited walk-ins will get processed as you will only be let in when someone with an appointment doesn't turn up. Wishing good luck to all! And yes, BLS Brampton does open up the appointments every few days and I have seen the slots becoming available close to 9/10 am.

Usually OCI website will display the info in about 10+ days or so after submission
Please do not add such comments without evidence. If they are replying to email communications or calls, that means they are working. 4-8 week is their standard processing time.

Does the BLS tracking atleast tell us that the OCI application is being processed?
It keeps telling processing till pickup message comes.
The 6 to 8 weeks processing time for OCI starts from day of application submission at BLS or the day we get acknowledgement? Submitted application at BLS Brampton on Aug 11 and got acknowledgement on Aug 24.Since then no progress. OCI is for foreign based spouse.

try to email BLS and ask because mine got acknowledgement on September 1 and I have received my OCI already.
I think it should be ok because I received my OCI within 38 days.

May I ask to which BLS you have submitted your application and the date of your submission?
Do you know if there is a shared spreadsheet where people are tracking timelines collectively?
Not that I am aware as in the past it was not taking a lot of time. Looks like its still not taking a lot of time for GTA.
