Humanitarian and compassionate consideration

Hi,
few questions about the humanitarian and compassionate application. I came in Canada 2019 under live in childcare which was the interim and after few months was changed to hccp. After completing my hrs I applied for the pr under hccp this year but was rejected cause of not meeting credential.
Just gave birth this year and lost my job. I tried applying since I’m still on close work permit but no luck cause most employers don’t wanna sponsor as they say it won’t be a good match when having a baby and day care waiting list so long. I called ircc and asked for advise and shared my story. The agent sent me an email about the humanitarian and compassionate which I had no idea about it.
I then spoked few people about it but they mention my case isn’t too strong cause my baby is still very young and I’ve not been here for too long.
I have reasons of not hoping to returning home which I didn’t share with them when I was asking about this program since I didn’t know anything about it: 1. Half brother in prison for 25 years which I abandoned and knowing he’s going to be out soon scares me to what he could do with anger of the fact I never visited nor spoke to him while he was in prison.
2. Lost my grandma who took as my mom during COVID and not so close with my biological mother. My dad died 2019. I don’t have nothing left home.
I’m from a township where crime is so high where also raising a multi racial child would be so hard in my community.

I don’t know what to do and scared to lose my status. At this moment I’m just clueless and having sleepless night.
Anyone who can advise as to what would be best- if maybe this isn’t good for me maybe look for other options or do the application and lastly what makes case strong.

Thank you so taking your time to read

Join discussions in the refugee/asylum section of the forum. There is a very active H&C thread there. No one here can tell you if your application will be approved or not. Your brother getting out of jail is not a strong argument due to IFA. I'm not sure that your other argument is that strong for the same reasons.

Ultimately you may need to hire a lawyer to help you.

Again, move to the refugee/asylum section of the forum and ask your questions there.

Thank you so much.
As mentioned in my post, strongly recommend that you join the existing H&C discussion in the refugee/asylum section of the forum instead of starting your own post.
