Hey Everyone,
I’m kinda following your guys progress as I had a massive delay in AOR (287 days after online submission ). I’ve seen a few posts of people on here saying they are waiting and waiting…it will eventually come and yes it’s SUPER frustrating. Most everyone else who applied in September like me have their citizenship complete now and mine is just getting started.

Anyway, my application seems on track with June 2023 progress now, as AOR was June 28 and test invitation came Aug 8. Everything is in progress.

It is very frustrating actually. Especially when you see others getting it done in a timely manner and you are stuck for some reason, but can't even do much as the processing time is 18 months. As you got your test invite, hopefully, things gonna pick up the pace from here and soon you'll be done with the whole process. Wishing you good luck.

Application delivered: June 9th (I applied through a consultant but I assume, it is the same date). My consultant confirmed the application was sent on June 9th.

Test Invite: August 11-- (I just saw the update.

Test period: August 14 to September 1st.

WOW. I'm excited to see movement on my file. Hopefully this is a good sign. But I have to go read the citizenship test information.

Just curious, when do you guys see your tracker updates. Does it happen overnight and you see it the following morning Or does the status changes occur during the day.

It doesn't have a specific time of the day. It can happen anytime. They are updating files during working hours for sure, but it might take time to reflect on the tracker. Usually, it's the next few days.

As per their guideline it 6 days before the event, but most people get it 4 days before test and for some it's just 2 days before the event. For some they never received an email and they gave the test just without an email invitation. If system lets you in, you can give the test. If the update is an error and the event is not planned yet, you will not be able to log in to give your test. Hopefully, you will receive your email invite soon tho. Good luck for your exam.

Help!!

Hi folks,
I am filling out my citizenship application and need some assistance on the following questions. I’d appreciate if someone can please give his/her expert opinion on it. Thanks in advance!!

1. I officially graduated from a school in Canada on October 16, 2018 but my PGWP was issued on Dec 18, 2018. So my question is from which date I’ll be officially considered as a worker, the one I graduated on OR the one my PGWP was issued on?

2. I exited Canada in October 2019 on 8th or 9th, I don’t remember the exact date and also exit stamp in passport isn’t available. So is it okay if I put as 8th to be on safe side and would that be okay if that actually happens to be 9th?

3. I stayed outside canada for more than 183 days in 2021 which requires me to submit police record check with my application. I have this police report BUT issued in 2021 - I got this from back home while returning to Canada. Would this be acceptable?

yes it does say that It’s not valid beyond 6 months.

You can submit it but the officer can ask you to submit a new one later.
