application form for TRV from within canada

Dear all,

I am applying for an extension on my work permit and Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) from "within" Canada and answered the questionnaire accordingly.

However, on the document upload page, the application form available for TRV says "Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257)".

I tried the questionnaire a couple of times and this remains the same.

Is it the same form for TRV from 'within' and 'outside' Canada?

I do not think it applies to us if we are extending our TRV with our PGWP

I used the same form and have received a an approval as visitors record instead of TRV.
I was hoping ircc would ask me for my passport to stick the regular visitors visa sticker.

Hey I have a similar situation. I applied for a TRV for me and my wife and I got the letter for the TRV but she got a Visitors Record, could you fix it?
