Visitor visa document number and expiry date on tracker

Hello

On the new IRCC tracker website I can see that in the documents section of my visa application there is a visa document number and expiry date (expiration date of my passport)
This was not there before. Has anybody else seen this? What does this mean?

I applied for my visa in August 2021. It’s been 20 months. I received the biometrics validity letter on the 29th of March

I have visa number and expiry date listed under documents on the tracker and I also received bvl last month but upto now no more update, no ppr and Background check "in progress" am here waiting

In my tracker it says document number not available yet expiry date not available yet then when you scroll down it showing document number Exxxxxxx35
Expiry date xxx please this is how is also showing in you guys tracker

The unavailable documents number and expiry date are for medical results, some applications don't need medical results, so if yours don't need medicals, the medical document number and expiry date will show unavailable...i hope this helps

I don't think you need another BVL hence you still have a valid BVL that expires in 2028,all you need do is wait patiently for ppr

On the 27th of April my tracker was updated and since then it hasn't been updated again, it's anyone facing the same issues

I'm in this exact situation... I applied for visitor visa from Qatar in April 27th 2022, received my BVL on 14th April 2023..

PPR not yet received... I'm still waiting fingers crossed..

With what I have been seeing in this platform, I don't think there's any one. Once I the tracker show your visa number and expire date, it simply means your application has been approved. Just wait for your passport submittion request.
