Super visa for parents: Biometric collection letter received for primary applicant only

Applied parents visit visa application on April 18 and received biometric letter for my mom(secondary applicant) and not for my dad(primary applicant). It's been a week.. biometric letter for my mom is valid for 30days. Not sure if my dad will get the letter before that.

Same situation here, Applied through the IRCC portal for visit visas and recieved the BIL only for the secondary applicant. I wonder if this is the case for the ones who applied through the GCKey...

We all are in the same situation. We went ahead and completed the Biometrics for my mother in law and still waiting for my father in law's BIL. Its been over 9 days now.

Update, I submitted a web form because I didn’t receive a biometric instructions letter for super visa for my mom, after 2 weeks they sent me an email asking for the payment receipt for the biometric.

Same issue. Applied yesterday and only received biometric for the primary applicant. Did not receive anything for rest of the 3 applicants.

I have filed my Parents visitors visa file on 20th April. My father is principal applicant. I got BIL for my mom but not my dad. Still waiting. Anyone faced similar situation and got it at a later date? What is the solution to this?

On their website, it says that the BIL should be received within 24 yours of submission. This is clearly a sign of a broken system. I applied for US, UK, Shengen Countries, and never had to deal with this kind of situation. The fact that you have to choose between GCKey and the IRCC portal is by itself a huge indication for this.

And I do not understand why a visit visa, which clearly has certain time constraints as visitors usually travel for a vacation or to do business or to attend an event, cannot be treated in a timely manner. I am lost honestly.
