Some people did, but mostly those in the Saskatchewan/Alberta/Regina areaHas anyone gotten an invitation for Oath ceremony since the strikes began? I wonder if there might be some of IRCC staff still working on these?

Sounds like some real progress on the part of the Treasury Board, but it seems some PSAC members are still playing hard ball and I feel the National President Aylward is one of them.*UPDATE*

Oh wow..they started canceling scheduled events two days in advance.Just received: Oath ceremony scheduled for 26th April is cancelled. Niagara Falls office.
so looks like they are assuming there will be no resolution for next couple of days at least.Oh wow..they started canceling scheduled events two days in advance.
Yeah...who knows what is actually going on thereOh wow..they started canceling scheduled events two days in advance.
Possibly but they also could be feeling that 24hrs is not enough time to play catch up, cos imagine the amount of rescheduling they have to start planning for, I think rescheduling will take priority - so maybe the new strategy is to start cancelling 48hrs in advance.so looks like they are assuming there will be no resolution for next couple of days at least.

If they can prioritize, will be good, let's see whats next with IRCC.Possibly but they also could be feeling that 24hrs is not enough time to play catch up, cos imagine the amount of rescheduling they have to start planning for, I think rescheduling will take priority - so maybe the new strategy is to start cancelling 48hrs in advance.
If you go to the IRCC website, that is exactly what it says! Right from the horse's mouth, so to speak! If they can prioritize, will be good, let's see whats next with IRCC.
Rescheduling doesn't mean prioritizing. Rescheduling can happen in 2 months or 2 days. Unless IRCC actually says the word "prioritize", everything is open to interpretation. If you go to the IRCC website, that is exactly what it says! Right from the horse's mouth, so to speak!

"Due to the Government of Canada labour disruption, Citizenship events will be rescheduled. Some urgent applications may still be processed."

I have my oath on 26th as well but no letter yet. I think that could be because I only got a tracker update and no letter. But this could be a good sign as I feel that they plan to clear the queue in the same order it was before. May be the oaths will shift by the number of days the strike goes on or fewer if they plan an aggressive approachJust received: Oath ceremony scheduled for 26th April is cancelled. Yes, technically you're correct. But what I meant to say, is that there might be some people who still think that their ceremonies dates are still valid even though they did not get an email invitation, and that all the rescheduled ceremonies will go behind them at the back of the line.Rescheduling doesn't mean prioritizing.
