Dang... I just checked my approval letter just now... My address is also wrong...Interesting, I didn't get that, I wonder why?
Some people are saying their address is completely wrong on that letter.

I think what happened is they started the 18 months counting from when they approved the opt-in extension. My PGWP is to expire in September 22, 2023. But my opt-in extension has a validity until October 12, 2024 instead of March 2025 if the extension would start at the end of my original PGWP.Hello I have applied for opt In pgwp ext. and received only work permit till 12 th Oct 2024. My current work permit is valid till Dec 2023. So technically only got 10 months of extension. Any idea on how to contact IRCC about this issue and get extension after my current work permit expires.
I believe we have to apply separately for our spouse's SOWP extension.I also got the approval letter today. Any idea what will happen to my Spouse Open work permit? Would that also get extended or I have to apply separately?
No, I did not receive any confirmation.@rcincanada2019 did you receive any kind of a confirmation letter or anything after you submitted on the 6th?
When I submitted it said 'a technical error was encountered, try again' when I tried again it said I have already opted-in. No other confirmation...
Yeah, this is unacceptable.I just came to a grim realization. If these PGWP extensions are sent to the wrong addresses through no fault of our own, then our personal data are compromised. Somebody at IRCC messed up big time for these personal data compromise, including (but not limited to) our UCI numbers, passport numbers, etc...
Yeah, the problem is not with the wrong info on the document as that can be corrected. The main concern is the personal data of each applicants being exposed to third party. Totally a serious matter. Not sure if IRCC is aware of the gravity of the situation.Yeah, this is unacceptable.
I heard some people called them and had their addresses fixed, but the agent said the permits had already been sent out to the wrong address, so they would have to send a new one...
