Congrats @Mr_Kumar, wish you good luck for the rest. Could you please share with us your documentation?
I don't understand what exactly you want to know when you talk about documentation. My documentation was normal......
  • All forms filled well that was given in the list of documents
  • Passport, Photo, Degree transcripts, IELTS,
  • GIC (CAD 10K), Tuition Fee (1-year), Letter of Acceptance, and Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Police clearance certificate, 1-year bank statement, an FD certificate
  • Marriage certificate, House Registry papers (first 5-6 pages)
  • Company Incorporation certificate, Company bank statement (1-year), PAN card.
As I am a business owner so I have to include documents related to my business.

Hey, I am from China. I applied for a study permit through SDS on 3.1.
The timeline for it:
3.1 submitted
3.8 Biometrics completed
3.14 medical completed
3.20 BVL
no updates since

Today, I just checked my application on the newly introduced tool from IRCC, Application Status Tracker. And it shows information like this, do you guys have similar information like this?

BTW, the site for the tool is : https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en

Thanks for sharing yours. Personally I won't need it because I got my PPR a few minutes after requesting your documentation out of anxiety. But this will probably be helpful for others so again thank you.

Thank you for sharing this link @kuhaku This is the first time I see it. It is basically the exact same information as in GCKey in a different layout, zero new information. It's nice to see that IRCC is spending time improving their look and not the actual speed of their service.

Hello All,
So, I got my study permit approved back in December 2022 for the January 2023 intake at Humber College through SDS. I left for Canada on 28 Dec 2022. However, due to an emergency, I had to return back to India on 04 Jan 2023. My study+work permit is valid till 30 April 2025. As I've returned back to India, I withdrew from the course and got the fees refunded. As the emergency situation at my home cooled down, I re-applied for the same course in the same college for the Sept 2023 intake and also got the Letter of Acceptance.
I need to know if I have to apply for a fresh study permit or get an extension on the already approved one which is valid till 30 Apr 2025. I read a few articles and also referred to the IRCC website and it is mentioned that I need to submit the updated Letter of Acceptance through the web form if the deferral is more than 150 days. It is obviously more than 150 days.
I need to know the next steps. Can anyone advise? I haven't been getting any responses on my web forms.
@parrots - looking forward to your response! :)
Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
Parth

As far as I know web forms doesn’t effect ur processing time . It might add more details to your file . I applied from india .
Thank you Bro! I also got through the line to IRCC agent and he believed that adding study plan won't make the processing time longer. So I am gonna try it. Better than just sitting and waiting :)

Hey @ridhamp00! Wow, 13 days ago you told me I should move my processing time benchmark to over 7 weeks! So, now it looks like you've made it in two days short of 9 weeks, right? :D My warmest congratulations on your approval and a great benchmark! Yours is officially the longest in 2023 on this forum so far! I wish no-one else breaks your record with their SDS applications this year! :)

The best of luck to you! (this forum needs more emojis, thumbs up!)

I've received my OPR on 28th March. Finally its all done with finger's crossed hope dont fall into any more hurdles.
