My parents are in India and I applied for their visa twice but unfortunately, it got rejected both times.

Father's details: 64 years, government service, has visited Canada in 2013 for less than a month
Mother's details: 60 years, housewife, no travel history

The rejection was due to following reasons:
1. Family ties in Canada
2. Purpose of visit
3.Financial status (Net worth shown of Rs 1 Crore)
I provided every possible document.I am planning to apply Super visa this year, I am looking for some advice here what can i do to make the file better.
I really want them to be here soon

Please advise, much appreciated!
Thank you

I would recommend that you order GCMS notes to see the detailed reasons behind the refusals. Don't reapply under you have this information and know more clearly what issues you need to address.

GCMS notes are the best piece of information. Net worth is important but so are liquid funds since they should be able to show they can support their visit. Do they lots of family in Canada or no family in India? That would factor into ties. They are relatively young and if you were asking for a long visit there can be concerns about how valid their ties are for instant a job. In general they should provide proof that they will be returning home and reasons why they must return home.

Yes i did request for GCMS notes and they provided the above 3 reasons and details. We have lots of paternal family in Canada and my father has now retired and he is on Pension. I have a minor brother living in India with them.
What is the best i can do to make the super visa application strong?

Hi Harpreet, the last refusal was in June 2019 and i havent reapplied ever since
Hi , Its has been changed a lot since covid and Canada needs most immigration and tourism and in-fact is promoting.

Under family re unification program, I would suggest you to apply super visa for your parents

Make sure you provide strong letter of invitation stating your parents plans for returning back to home country

Below post will provide you example of good invitation letter

Best of Luck !

What is the exact wording they used in the prior rejection letters? Can you copy and past it here? This would help us give some suggestions. Also are you a PR or Canadian citizen?. You said you showed 1 crore net worth. Is it for your parents or you or your family? Does your parents have any fixed assets in India like a house, lands, agricultural lands? If they have fixed assets in Canada, they have to go back to India to dispose (sell) off so that could be a strong reason for not staying in Canada.

If you are supporting them for their trip, I would recommend adding a notarized affidavit from Canada stating that you will support them financially and you will ensure they will return back to India etc.

Hi khush,

i am not a PR
My parents got rejected saying-

they have insuffiecient funds
The purpose of visit is incosistent with the temporary stay given in the documents

i also did notarize their letter, stating that I would fund their trip

How long was visit? Notarized letter is of no benefit. Saying you will fund trip was not a good idea. They funds in the two accounts were their own funds? Is this all their savings.

They were planning a trip for 20 days!
Hi, actually I showed 30,000 in my account and the money their account was in current account which is used in business, it was not the savings.

i applied in 2022 and then now few days back in 2023 and received a response within 8 days with the rejection and the reasons remained same both times.

i am thinking to wait for my PR now and my younger brother has his convocation in 2 years. So then apply for their super visa.
I have asked them to maintain their balance, you have idea how much they should save for two people visit.
