I am an international student. Recently came to Canada with my spouse. My spouse's application type was OWP(Open work permit). But the work permit letter she received has a different type of occupation mentioned. Instead of Open work permit, it is Online Apps Temporary NOC. Case is 54. We are really confused about joining the work. Looking forward to the expert opinion. Thanks.

many people apply like that but in occupation it is always written open
but in our case its written online apps temporary noc
I received the same written on my Work Permit (PGWP) recently. I applied from within Canada.

20 – Worker Not Elsewhere Specified
21 – Employment form
22 – Official status

25 – Commuter
26 – National of a communist country
27 – Under application
28 – Under enforcement
29 – Refused application for permanent resident
52 – LMIA exempt
54 – Same employer or Subsequent open work permit
56 – Post Graduation work permit (PGWP)
57 – Live-in caregiver work permit
58 – International Experience Canada (IEC)
59 – Co-op work permit
86 – Others
98 – Seasonal worker
In my case, I should have received Case 56 but I received my work permit with Case 54, however, it's written "Any" on my work permit under the "Employer" category which means it's not a closed work permit. There are no additional conditions mentioned.

I also thinks its fine. I was in same situation. But on my PGWP there was some specific location and occupation( Online Apps temporary NOC) was mentioned. Because I am planning to move to other province. I decided to send it for correction and I got it within two weeks after.

Anyone have an update on how you guys solved this issue? My wife also have the same issue with the Open work permit which she got here when landed in Toronto
