I applied the same time with you.I applied Oct 2nd, biometrics done Oct 6th. Still haven't heard anything too.
biometrics updated oct 14
I received medical request on Nov 28 but I did upfront medical and it’s not updated till date.
I received PPR on Nov 30.
I submitted my passport on Dec 2 at VFS and it got to their office on Dec 6 and no updates since then.
Present state: waiting for my passport.

I got a decision from IRCC. Approved On 9th feb and my counterfoil states that my study permit/ Visa expiry date is 11th November 2023 while I already deferred my program to sept 2023 please note that I raised a Webform on 7th February and uploaded my new LOA. My course is a 4 semester program in Durham college(Chemical laboratory Technician. Please advise me on what I should do. Meanwhile I got another admission in a more preferred institution which is University of Manitoba(Bachelor of Science General 2nd year) for summer 2023please am I to reapply for study permit?

Hi Nature girl. What will I do about the Expiry date of my permit. Since it expires barely 2 months after my school resumptionif changing to another DLI/school, you need to apply for a new study permit.
If changing to U of M, then you need a new study permit. If attending the college, then enter Canada and extend permit in the Fall.@Naturgrl Please advise me on what to do. Is it best I wait and travel with the Permit that expires on November 2023 or apply for a new permit with a new LOA?
