SDS 2022 Processing Time

Hello everyone, I'm from Brazil and I'd like to share my timeline:

SDS application: 2022-10-26
Exams upfront
Biometrics: 2022-10-28
Passed on medicals: 2023-01-18
Review of elegibility: 2023-01-18

101 days since application (more than 14 weeks), so far, and still not a final decision. They said it's been processed in Edmonton, what is going on there?

Edmonton office processes student visas. IRCC moves applications around to even out work loads. You can raise a webform and ask about status. Assume you are in Brazil now.

I've been sending webforms almost everyday, and always getting the generic response. And yes, I am in BR now, and the consulte here informed that the CDC Edmonton was processing my case, so I don't know... I'm still sending webforms to Canada and Brazil offices...

Stop sending webforms. It doesn’t do anything and just bogs down your file. If you got a generic response then wait. There is nothing to do but wait. Again, your file can be processed anywhere.

Got second refusal today.
file lodged Jan 25
Refused feb 2

same reason that your stay in Canada is not consistent with information provided in application. Just 5 days to get refusal.
I am shattered now. Anybody in same boat. Any suggestions?

that is really sad.
however, I am also facing the same issue. please apply for notes Asap. and then reapply.

Dear all,
Please see my case..

File lodged on 28 Oct 2022 for Jan 2023 Intake ---- SDS
Biometric checked on 03 Nov 2022
Upfront medicals. Medical pass status on 21 Nov 2022.
Since 24 Nov 2022, it is showing "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

Today, it's been 97 days gone instead of the broadly stated 20 days on the IRCC website.

I don't know what is going on. Any thoughts?
Am I in some trouble?
Can I apply for another study permit with another program & college before they declare the results?
What option do I have besides waiting? I am now getting LOA for Sept 2023. The college is refunding the paid fee and taking time in that.

Any guidelines for me?

Any comment on my situation?
